Jordan S. Mandel is President and Founder of Vanguard Global Realty (VGR). After twenty years in the real estate business, Jordan launched VGR to serve as a destination for real estate strategy and advisory services. Mandel has spent his career representing the interests of office space users; relationships that were the base of the foundation for a differentiated and sustainable real estate brokerage-consultancy. Jordan is responsible for local and global clients’ commercial real estate requirements, those who value accountability and dedication to delivering results.
As detailed in the Vanguard Blueprint, VGR implements an engaging process to secure the most cost effective options available to clients. Navigating through the noise created by excess data and (mis)information, in an effective, unbiased and transparent manner is the operating style which is consistent with the core VGR principles.
Prior to launching VGR, Jordan was a Principal at The Vortex Group, Vice President at Cushman & Wakefield and served as a Senior Director of CBRE’s New York office. Jordan has secured over 3.5 million square feet of office space and worked on transactions totaling $1 billion. He was a finalist for Real Estate Board of New York Most Promising Broker Award and named as a Commercial Broker All Star by Real Estate New York magazine. Before embarking on his real estate career, Jordan worked at Bloomberg L.P., under the direction of New York’s past mayor, Michael Bloomberg.
In 2009, Jordan founded Jam Brothers, an independent music source developed to promote artists and music events on a global platform. Jordan remains active in various organizations including the Children’s Hearing Institute, Central Park Conservancy, Museum of Modern Art, American Heart Association, Israel Bonds and Lincoln Center. A proud and active alumni of the Babson College Alumni Association, Jordan now serves as the Board advisor to the New York Alumni Association. Jordan was recognized for his philanthropic service by the renowned Charles and Lynn Schusterman Foundation and currently serves as a Board member for The Lower Westside Housing Corporation in New York City.
In 2017, VGR was engaged to identify a new global headquarters in New York for 451 Research. The team successfully negotiated a 14,000 square foot lease in midtown. The fully furnished space provided the most up to date workplace efficiencies creating a dynamic destination for the firm and its employees. We wish 451 continued success and believe our represented clients are the most important part of our team.
Most recently, respected real estate veteran David A. Burton joined VGR as Executive Director overseeing business development at company offices located in both New York and Florida. The company actively engages with real estate advisors across international markets. VGR continues to develop a strong global alliance with partners who are best in class – an approach centered on working with the most trusted local market experts regardless of company affiliation.
